A new look for Berlin Library

Wow, we've really come up in the world! Our beautiful new landscaping was created by our local scout troup, 373, under the direction of Rob Forrester as his Eagle Scout project.

Blooming crepe myrtles flank both sides of our entrance walk, while our sidewalks are lines with azaleas. Daylilies, which will bloom and spread soften the corners of the gardens while inviting benches will welcome visitors and patrons to the branch and to outdoor programs. A special thanks must be given not only to the boys (and their moms and dads), all who donated hours and days of time, but to the Berlin area businesses who supported Rob by donating the plants, mulch, lumber and concrete: Raynes Gravel and Sand, Marshall's Nursery, Home Depot, and the Adkins Company.

But wait! That's not all! We have a new look inside as well: our furniture has arrived and updates our look. Our old furniture was installed when our branch was built in 1970, so it's out with the old . . .

. . . and in with the new!

Looking good! Woohoo!
