Eagle Scout Rob is building two gardens, complete with benches, in our front yard. Here's what we have after only one day's work.
Our gardens in progress
Berlin Branch's new gardens will have native plants such as azaleas, daylilies, and our local favorite, Crepe Myrtle!
Digging, digging, digging . . .
An army of shovels for an army of Scouts
Dig a hole . . .
Plant a seed . . .or an azalea . . .
Everything is in order
Almost finished!
Our new look - gorgeous!
A huge THANK YOU to Robert Forrester and Troup 373 for creating such a wonderful and inviting space in front of the Berlin Library! And a special and tremendous thanks to the local businesses who supported our scouts with donations: Raynes Gravel and Sand gave mulch, Marshall's Nursery gave the azaleas, daylilies, and crepe myrtles, Home Depot donated concrete for our new benches, and the Adkins Company donated the lumber!

THANKS GUYS!
A storm approaches . . .
Such beautiful clouds, and just in time to water our new gardens!
A Taste of Blackberries
Need a break on your copies? You can pay us in food! Thanks Bill!
Roll Up, Roll Up, for the Magical Mystery Tour!
